Overview of Idea

CoderDojo NYC is a group of volunteers, we teach youth ages 7-17 to program and code, whether its making their first websites to game development. Coding should be accessible all!

Our last session included over 40 attendees who created their first websites in HTML & CSS and games in Scratch.

The Specifics: How will you use $2,500 to fuel social change through technology?

$1,500 would go towards buying laptops for our youth to use during our sessions.

40 minimum spec laptops that can handle video game development

We hope to reach out to underprivileged youth who may not have their own computers.

$1,000 We would also like to purchase video equipment so we can broadcast our sessions to make them accessible online.
